Our History

DentureTech's roots began in the 1980's when Chris Pine started a small laboratory from his home in Belmont Terrace, Milford. Chris soon gained a reputation for quality craftsmanship. His developing business quickly outgrew his home laboratory and Chris, together with his wife and business partner, Vicki, purchased a property at 860 East Coast Road, Browns Bay approximately 10 years ago. Renovated to accommodate the needs of a dental laboratory, "East Coast Road" provided the stepping stone required for his developing business and became very well known throughout Auckland.

As a reflection of the growing professionalism of the business, Chris changed his business name from Chris Pine Dental Laboratory to DentureTech in 2001. With an increasing focus on quality and technology came another increase in business, and once again Chris found his business too big for its physical walls.

In August of 2003 DentureTech moved its main laboratory to its present location at 331 Rosedale Road, Albany. With a purpose-designed interior this spacious and modern laboratory serves its purpose exceptionally well. Privacy and professionalism were utmost in their minds when Chris and Vicki Pine created their laboratory environment. Their main goal was to ensure patients feel comfortable and assured they are dealing with a truly professional team.
